PowerBuilder Analyst Programmer

We are currently looking for a PowerBuilder Analyst Programmer, to assist us with the evolution of existing applications.  The term of the mandate is 6 months, starting as soon as possible.  The work location is our Toronto office, located in downtown Toronto.
 
Responsibilities :
•             Analyzing change requests, designing new application features and preparing technical specifications;
•             Developing enhancements and bug fixes, and testing application functionality;
•             Preparing system documentation that is consistent with established standards;
•             Providing accurate work effort estimates;
•             Other duties as required
 Knowledge and Skills :
•             College diploma or university degree in computer science or a combination of relevant experience and/or training;
•             A minimum of 5 years of experience in PowerBuilder development;
•             Experience with SQL development;
•             Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
•             Ability to manage priorities and to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
•             Proficiency in English, both oral and written;
•             Proficiency in French is an asset;
•             Knowledge of the property management business and property management applications is an asset.
 
The Technical Environment :
•             Front End:  PowerBuilder 10 (10.2.1 Build 90004) / running as executables in a Citrix environment
•             Database:  Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Server 2000 Compatibility
