Job Description:
It is for a typical application support position with the main language of development is RPG on the AS400.
Candidate must be able to:
• resolve application related incident tickets raised by the user (level 2 after having been initially reviewed by the help desk)
• use the ticketing tool to record progress, status, and resolution of the tickets
• familiarize with the ticketing tool to search for documented resolutions
• resolve operational request – which do not require code change but require some configuration changes or some data extractions
• reply to how to questions from users
• be on a rotation for on call support
• be fluent in french and english (or at least a good knowledge of english)
• it is a work from home position or can also work from the office
•
• for the development side:
• be experienced RPG developer with at least 3-5 year RPG experience
• perform analysis and program the change i.e. role of a programmer/analyst
• coordinate QA testing with the client
